Men’s Shirt Fits and Measuring Guide

Men's Extra Slim (Tailored) Fit

Our Extra Slim Tailored Fit has been designed for those who like a close fitting shirt, but need a bit more room in the chest and shoulder. This style accentuates the 'V' shaped physique, with two darts in the back tapering the fabric into a narrow waist.

The Tailored fit comes standard in the Windsor cutaway collar and French (double) cuff sleeves. However as a Made to measure Button cuff sleeves, other collar options, pockets and alterations are available.

Slim Fit

Our Slim Fit formal shirt fits closer to the body and is slightly shorter in the tails than our Classic Fit shirt.

It offers all the traditional virtues of our Classic Fit including a two-piece, hand turned collar with removable collar stiffeners and a split yoke across the shoulders, but tailored with a contemporary look.

The Slim fit comes standard in the Windsor cutaway collar and French (double) cuff sleeves. However as a Made to measure Button cuff sleeves, other collar options, pockets and alterations are available.

Classic Fit

Our traditional Classic Fit formal shirt is generously cut with extra long tails, a two-piece, hand turned collar with removable collar stiffeners, butterfly gusset and a split yoke across the shoulders, ensuring comfort and style whatever the setting.

Our Classic Fit formal shirt has two collar styles: the Prince of Wales collar and the Windsor collar. The Prince of Wales collar comes in either double cuff or twin-button cuff while the Windsor collar comes in double cuff.

However as a Made to measure Button cuff sleeves, other collar options, pockets and alterations are available.

Measuring Guide

Measuring the Collar Size
Place tape measure around your neck leaving 1 finger gap for comfort.
(please note all measurements must be in cm’s only).

Collar Options

There are 4 great collar options in our made to measure shirts.

1. Prince of Wales Collar – this is our default collar on 90% of our shirt.

2. Windsor Collar – this is our classic cutaway collars.

3. Button Down Collar – this is our more casual collar.

4. Nauru Collar – this is our band collar with no structured collar.

Measuring Your Sleeve Length

Measure from the middle of the back of the collar (A) to the point of the shoulder (B) and then down to the end of the cuff (C). The total length provides you with your sleeve length.

Cuff Options

There are 2 cuff options;

Double Cuff otherwise known as French cuffs that require cufflinks

Button Cuffs.

Breast Pocket

There is the option of the plain front ( with no pockets ) and or a breast pocket on the LH chest.

Optional Fields

Chest
Measure under arms holding firmly not tightly at widest point across the chest.

Waist
Measure around waist confirming position on waist where person normally wears trousers.

Shirt Length
Measure from top of the shoulder, close to the mid side of your neck following your body down to the point where you want shirt to end.
